Abnormalities of the bones around the eye socket, or orbit may be caused by trauma, tumors, inflammation, or infection. These may result in a sunken eye, a protruding eye, double vision, or vision loss. If necessary, surgery can be performed to repair broken bones or remove tumors of the eye socket to address these issues.
